If you’re thinning your spring garden, consider donating extra plants.
Please remember:
• Label plants if possible
• Avoid invasive species
• Dig plants a few days in advance so they recover before the sale

Your help supports local trails and environmental projects in our community.
Over the years, the fund has helped support countless environmental projects in the Maitland watershed — without ever touching the original capital.
Many hikers already benefit from John Hindmarsh’s legacy. Several beloved trails exist because he donated his properties to the Maitland Conservation Authority, including:
🌿 Naftel’s Creek
🌿 South Maitland Woods
🌿 Saratoga Swamp
