TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE- Londesboro Rd to Little Lakes Road

 Trail Notice – Temporary Closure 

A section of the Maitland Trail is closed from Londesboro Road to Little Lakes Road due to bank slumping and instability. Please plan your hike accordingly and respect all closures for your safety.

Notes for a new route:

1) There is no blazing in place for a reroute. Any blazes that you see are for normal operation of the trail system.

2) Londesboro Rd is a high speed thoroughfare. For safe transit walk on the left side facing oncoming traffic off the travelled portion, better yet, on the gravel.

3) River Line and Little Lakes Rd are lower speed and volume of traffic gravel roads.  For safe transit walk on the left side facing oncoming traffic off the travelled portion. Be aware that gravel roads may have poor sight lines for oncoming traffic- stay to your side of the road!
