We’re just starting to think about thinking about Jane’s Walk 2019, so, watch this space!

Below are the walks hosted around Goderich in 2018. 

ANYONE is welcome to host a walk of their design. Send us the details and we’ll add them to the schedule.



Community Bike Ride: The legit shortcuts of Goderich
When:  Sunday, May 6th, 2-3:30 pm
Starting Point: Maker’s Mercantile, 43 West Street Goderich
Ending Point: Square Brew
Route: approximately 10 km, easy pace, shortcuts and back alleys, all are welcome. Bring – water, snack, a bike with 1 1/2″ or wider tires, in good working condition and your helmet,
We’ll look at some town maps to see where the sweet back routes are hiding, get the intel from the group and head out on an adventure. There will be some grassy sections and a bit of gravel and grass not suitable for skinny tires.

Goderich Pipe Organ Walk: church organists offer insight and recitals
When:  Saturday, May 5th, 2:00 – 3:15
Starting point:  front steps Lakeshore United Church, 56 North Street Goderich,
Ending point:  Knox Presbyterian Church, 9 Victoria Street Goderich
Explore the sound of non-electronic pipe organs at Lakeshore, St George and Knox Churches. “To my eyes and ears the organ will ever be the King of Instruments”….Mozart


Maitland Woods Walk
When:  Sunday, May 6th, two hikes starting at 1:00 and 1:30
Start and end point:  from the parking lot, Knights of Columbus Hall parking lot on Parson’s street
Leisurely 1 hour guided walks of our beautiful urban forest and annual morning Plant Sale sponsored by the John Hindmarsh Environmental Trust Fund, the Maitland Conservation Foundation and the Maitland Trail Association.
